Shake Blocker

Shake Blocker Privacy Policy

Effective November 5, 2026

Shake Blocker has no account sign-in, ads or advertising tracking. Protection history, locations and photos stay on your iPhone. Apple and RevenueCat process purchase records, an anonymous app user ID, and app, device and locale information to validate purchases, provide the trial and lifetime unlock, and analyze purchases. RevenueCat privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

What Shake Blocker stores

- Your settings, such as sensitivity, the leash device and your lock screen message.

- History: when protection was on, and each lock with its reason and time. If you allowed Location, each lock also keeps where your iPhone was.

- Intruder photos, only if you turn on Intruder photo.

All of this stays in Shake Blocker's private storage on your iPhone. Like other app data, it's included in your iPhone backups. You can delete history and photos at any time in History, and deleting Shake Blocker deletes everything it stored.

How each permission is used

- Motion: the motion sensors are read live, only while protection is on or while you test a grab, to notice a sudden snatch. Motion readings are never stored.

- Location (While Using): used only while protection is on. Shake Blocker saves where your iPhone was when it locks. If you turn on Protect in the background, location updates also keep protection running when the screen is off, and iOS shows the location indicator the whole time.

- Bluetooth: used only for the distance leash, to estimate how far your iPhone is from the device you choose.

- Camera: used only if you turn on Intruder photo. After a failed unlock, the front camera takes one photo, and the lock screen tells the person holding the iPhone that this happens.

- Face ID or passcode: handled entirely by iOS. Shake Blocker only learns whether you were recognized. It never sees your face data or your passcode.

- Notifications: used only to tell you when your iPhone locks.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Apple and RevenueCat process purchase data as described above. Sharing a photo sends it only to the destination you choose. Deleting the app removes local history and photos, but does not erase purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat. To request deletion of RevenueCat records, contact support using the App Store support link and include your anonymous purchase user ID, available on the lifetime access screen.

Children

This app is not intended for children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear in the app with a new effective date.
